Don't Stop Us Now ;)

Where shall I even start? How about the part where things get interesting? Yeah, that part!

Make-up? Check!
Costume? Check!
Hair Extension? It hurts but CHECK!

The E-Beths are ready to hit that stage! We were third to perform in the CAE Playfest which was a disadvantage because people might be too sleepy to watch us. It did not overpower us. We stayed positive. When St. Catherine was done, all I  could think was "Oh my God! Oh my God!". I felt like going to the toilet! I calmed myself by dancing (LOL!). Dancing like swaying from side to side. Once I was in the stage, there was still fear but I just told myself to just enjoy every moment and cherish it. So I did! What felt like 10 years, our play ended. I felt proud of myself and my section. What surprised us all was when they announced the winners when we just arrived at the front door of the St. Anne's Hall and some of us we were just getting out of the backstage. It was so quick! It hurt us all because it was like they did not even count us in. It devastated us all. We told ourselves that we should do better in our CAF Play.

It was the day the E-Beths were waiting for, the day of our CAF Play. We tried to not go back to the classroom because it was said to be "bad luck". Before we left the classroom, we made sure everything is ready. We helped each other in bringing the props. It was 1:00 in the afternoon and again, we were tensed, more tensed than the CAE play because we want to try our best to rise up from our downfall. Everything seemed to be in good shape. I mean EVERYTHING. Every time the audience reacts, we were happy because it was one of the criteria: Audience Impact. Our goal was to make the audience cry and it happened! Thank God! In the end, we won as the BEST PLAY for the second year!!! Tears of joy ran down my cheeks. It felt good winning at least one play.

I did not win as an individual but the group awards were much more important (for me) than the individual awards because it shows the group's unity.

WIN TOGETHER, LEARN TOGETHER. E-BETH FOREVER! =D

TDR.. What can go wrong?

Yeah, what can possibly go wrong? LOTS OF THINGS! o_O Terrified to my bones, I had sleepless nights before both our CAE and CAF TDR.

CAE
"The King and I" or you may also call it "Anna and the King". That's the title of our CAE play. What's my role? Well, not to brag or anything but I am Tuptim, the servant girl whom the prince fell in love with. Can my life get any easier? YEAH, RIGHT! The nights before the TDR, I cannot sleep well. Tossing and Turning until midnight. Eventually, I slept because I listened to music which was the only thing that can calm me at that moment. The next morning, I woke up with mixed emotions. I was panicking because I have not prepared yet my costume and things needed to bring. When I got to school, I kept on rechecking  my costume if it was still there (paranoid much?!). Until I realized the TIME! Time flew so fast. One moment it was just 7:30 then the next it was 10:00! See! My life kept on getting better and better (sarcastic)! Then, it was 12:00 which means...PREVIEW TIME! I appreciated so much the presence and patience of our manangs in the fourth year. So touched :') Anyway, we entered the SAH by 2:00 when it should be 1:00 (Pinoy habit). Well, since then, it went smoothly! I never have imagined it like that. WOAH!

CAF
"I got this all in the bag! I've been here and I know the feeling" Feeling so confident right? Well, yes of course. The CAE TDR was an almost success and since I felt how it feels during a TDR, I would be more confident in the CAF. I was acting all cool in school that morning of the CAF TDR. When that afternoon came, it was our turn and so I helped prepare. When the lights were off, it was our queue that it's "SHOWTIME" and that was were the disaster kept coming in. We forgot our lines. Which way to enter and exit. Oh my! It was like Bagyong Frank all over again. Costumes were flying because we had little time to change into our next outfit. The Lights were not in time. There were so much hullabaloo. Yet, we just laughed it out. Nothing too serious. No surprise, the critique did not like it and so we had to almost half of the script but it is okay =))

Lesson learned from the two TDRs:
"Don't take everything too serious. Life's too short so make every second count"
....or.....
"Take every criticism, constructive and not destructive"

Leaving on an Airplane

I'm Leaving on an Airplane to.... CEBU CITY! The Queen City of the South :)

It was about 2 years ago when we went to Cebu. It was the Holy Week when we stayed at my uncle's resort in Talisay. I had a blast!!! The world was partying when I had the time of my life! No, I did not go to the Casino but I did go to SM Cebu which was pretty big! I mean, awesomely HUMONGOUS. Back to the resort, there were like  10 of us and we had to share two rooms but the rooms were kinda big and it was enough. We were able to visit a beach/resort that was very popular but I forgot the name! (sorry no pictures for that)

There came a day when we had my uncle's resort for ourselves! I think it was the Thursday and Friday in the Holy Week. We swam and swam. We laughed 'til our stomachs ached. We ate "quek-quek". It's an egg covered all over with "harina" but I don't know why it's colored orange :) We stayed there for about 6 days and I slept like a baby each day I was there =)

Even though I have been visiting Cebu since I was a toddler, it never fails to mesmerize me with it's beauty and cultures.

Best Friend Forever

This is MARJA ESPERANCILLA. My bestfriend since forever! We share memories (bad or good) with each other. I don't get jealous of her because she has the gift of drawing while I don't! As long as she's happy with drawing, I will support her all the way.We miss our other friend, REEZA PAYOS, who went to Manila to study.

Marja's real name is Jann Martine Esperancilla but we call her Marjae, Marj or Marjastina :) She's not only beautiful and a great artist but she is also someone whom you could trust. She's very down-to-earth. She's a joker (she doesn't even know it). I love her so much. She's also smart and the type of person who doesn't easily give up. She's an inquisitive girl. Because of me, she learned to have fun :))

This year tested our friendship because this is the only year we are not in the same section. She is in St. Anne while I'm in St. Elizabeth. But still, we broke those barriers and continued our friendship. Yeah, you don't see us hanging out during recess but still, we are BFFs ;)

L.O.L!

Journalism, Journalism, Journalism!

The period where the world falls into complete silence. HAHA! Kidding! But it is true that we are very quiet once journalism period has started. We make sure that everything is ready: whiteboard, temporary marker, notebook, book and of course, a pen. But before anything else, we already think of our own prayer because Mr. Geraño will just pick anybody. Before he enters the classroom, the desk should be NEAT & CLEAN. Also the blackboard! We should have erased the writings on the board. We also ask: "May assignment ta?" or "May whiteboard marker ka? Ahay. Wala ko ya. Updi ko mahulam sa piyak na section!" those are really L.O.L moments! You should be updated with the news because he gives quizzes about them.
But even though, it sounds scary, Journalism class is very fun! Especially when Mr. Geraño gives activities that we teenagers can relate with. Like the activity when we had to guess the word by naming the famous people. It was extraordinarily FUN! Yet, we still learn things! Like about pronunciation, news, and about the newspaper and more! Isn't that great? You get to have fun and you also learn. Mr. Geraño really gets us, teenagers. He knows how to spark our interest so that his class won't be boring. He may be strict but when you get to know him, he is super interesting.

If I compare the journalism period last year from this year, I would really choose this year because last year was kinda boring. It was not that EXCITING!

This is Mr. Geraño. He's our teacher in Journalism. Like I said, he may be serious or he may be fun. As long as you respect him. Mr. Geraño's expressions are unexpected. It's part of the way he teaches. And, oh, by the way, don't yawn in front of him with your mouth so wide a cow can fit 'cause he might explode. So I warn you, act properly when facing him! ;) But he is sociable. He interacts with the learners every recess, lunch and dismissal. I almost forgot! He taught us that you should not say: "May I go to the comfort room?" it should be: "May I go to the toilet?" HAHA!
HI SIR! :D

Me, My Family and I

The clown is not part of my family, okay? :)

Hey bloggers! Meet my crazy and loving familia!
Yes, you heard it right. CRAZY! Why you ask? It's because we do things uniquely as a family. Too bad I don't have a picture of my dad because in these events, he is in Saudi. He is working as a Chemical Engineer. My lolo is not in these picture also because he passed away :( May his soul rest in peace. I was super close with my lolo. He was my savior when my mom gets angry with me. Oh how I miss him.
My dad is Andres and as I told you, he works in Saudi as a Chemical Engineer. My mom is Sol and she is a housewife. She is also my best friend. I am a momma's girl and I am proud of it! She has been there through my ups and downs. She LOOOOOOVES me and I LOOOOOOOOVE her! :D I have an older sister. She is 20 yrs. of age and her name is Andrea Mari. She was named after my father. We fight a lot. More than you can imagine but I still love her. Don't underestimate her because she brings SURPRISES! :) I also have a little brother. His name is Maxwell Peter and he is just 2 yrs. old. Do you see the age gap? WOAH, right? :)) My brother also brings SURPRISES. We are a family of SURPRISES. So expect the unexpected from us :) And the also part of my family are my mom's brothers and sisters and their sons & daughters :) Big isn't it? :D

So, yeah! You met my family and you know 1/4 of my life story :D

I so L.O.V.E. him!!

Logan Lerman
Hey, friends!
OHMEHGAHD! Isn't he the the cutest?! I'm wonder struck by him.
By the way, you might recognize him from "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" In the movie, he is the son of Poseidon, the god of the sea. That's why he has this tattoo (?) on his arm. See it? COOL! Percy is a Demigod (half-god, half-mortal). How awesomely amazing is that?! Like, WOAH!

A Midsummer-Night's Dream

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" by Shakespeare, the GREATEST poet of all time!!!

This story is about 4 main characters: Helena, Lysander, Demetrius & Hermia
It's Shakespeare's most delightful comedy. It's also a love story.
So here's the thing; Hermia's father, Egues, wants her to marry Demetrius because he is in love with Lysander. So Egues asked for the help of Theseus (Duke of Athens) to help persuade her daughter. So Theseus told Hermia to obey her father, or either die or accept a life as a nun. And so Hermia and Lysander planned to take off but first they told Helena. Helena is in love with Demetrius BUT Demetrius hates her and loves Hermia. The Athenian lovers, Hermia and Lysander, ran away but they got lost in the woods. They didn't know Demetrius was following them! Gosh! And Demetrius didn't know Helena was following him. DOUBLE GOSH!
There's this fairy, his name is Oberon (king of the fairies who lives in the woods) overheard Helena & Demetrius arguing and sent his mischievous servant, Puck, to get a flower that has the power to make people fall in love with the FIRST creature that they see when the juice is placed in their eyelids when they fall asleep. He instructs Puck to put some on Demetrius' eyes. Mistaking Demetrius, he seeks Lysander so that when he is woken by Helena, he immediately falls in love with her and rejects Hermia. OH NO!  Helena & Demetrius were tired of arguing, so they chased one another through the woods and when Demetrius rests, Oberon puts magic juice on his eyes so that both he and Lysander pursue Helena until the four lovers fall asleep. Puck puts juice on Lysander's eyes before the four lovers are woken by Theseus & Hippolyta (queen of Amazons and betrothed to Theseus) and their hunting party. Happily reunited with each other, Lysander with Hermia, Demetrius with Helena, they agree to share the duke's wedding day. YEHEY!

The story is so...AWESOME!

Am I going Mad? ;)

when lights off,
my silence laughs,
the whole night,
i can't fight.

i want sleep,
but your thoughts flip,
my peace aside,
it's not right.

i need rest,
and you happily slept,
in my mind,
its a crime.

my patience kills,
that after pills,
i am still awake,
for God sake.

am i a fool?
or your memories rule?
now they seem,
my only dreams.

my mind's numb,
but i will overcome,
the one who's near,
my only fear.

and i won't quit,
until you hit,
at your moves,
i can't lose..

There is always a rainbow after the rain

Only today did I believe about the saying: "There is always a rainbow after the rain" Yes, I have heard of it but I didn't actually know what it really means.
Today was a horrible day! I didn't follow directions in our quiz so I got a low score, I lost the key to my locker, there's this false accusation about me and my best friend spreading and had a fight with my sister. But that all went away when someone I admired texted me after a very long time. I was in the state of shock! Like, it was all new to me. I kept on daydreaming. Now, I'm even more inspired.
My problems were the symbols of the rain and message of someone I admired was the rainbow. Oh, how I love this feeling.

Because of the Nestea Bottle... :|

"Misunderstanding" is commonly the start of relationships, right? Well, it happened to me just because of the Nestea Bottle my best friend jokingly placed in my bag. After a minute or two that I did not reply because I was out of LOAD! She kept on texting me "Sorry!" but I can't reply even I wanted to because I have no where go for my load. I was stuck waiting for my sister. I was so anxious! I can't think straight. I feel GUILTY but when I got home, I asked for load. Then I texted her, she did not reply. I called her, she did not answer my calls.
I don't know what to do!!! I'm like crying right now :'( She reply after an hour or so but when she replied, it's not her same way of texting. The way she texts, it's always so lively and all laughs but now, it's plain and dull.

I'M SO SORRY IF I HURT YOUR FEELINGS, BULINJIT! :'(

For The First Time :DDD

Have you ever rode a bike without training wheels? Well, if you ask me, I would answer proudly: "Yes! Yes I have. It's was super awesome!!" Can you believe that a girl like me would end up riding a bike without training wheels! WOAH! :O It feels so great to conquer your fears and just let loose. Thanks to the help of Andrea, Pamela, Tyra and of course, my "mentor" KRISTAH! She told me to just trust her and so, just like the "good" girl I am, I obeyed her. But still, I keep falling down (at first) and yet, that did not stop me. It pushed me to try and try. Look where it brought me now. I'm riding bikes on my own! Yehey! :D And it really proved the quotation: "Try and try until you succeed," so right! I totally agree with it since I felt it for myself. Isn't just wonderful? I keep on mentioning and mentioning my experience in facebook, twitter and I even group messaged it.
I'm just so proud of myself! :">

Umbrella, oh, umbrella!!! :((

Everyday, me and my group of friends hang-out our special umbrella near year 2 St. Anne. We share stories and also eat together there. There was never a day when we didn't laugh. If you ever hear a roar of laughter, that would be coming from us. We are always so problem free when we are in our umbrella but today, someone got our precious umbrella. It was lunch time so me and Tyra went down to wait for the others. Our friends from St. Anne got out and so we waited for St. Catherine. I told Marja to reserve the umbrella and so she did. As she was walking, a group of boys were heading the same direction as she was. They raced for the spot and they both grabbed for the chair AT THE SAME TIME! :D I can't say I blame the boys. Yet, I'm still sad because we hadn't hanged-out in our umbrella.

Tomorrow's mission: RESERVE ALREADY THE UMBRELLA WHOEVER GOES OUT FIRST :DDD

We will succeed!!

14 on 14

Today, was the greatest birthday so far. Why? One, lots and lots of people greeted me even those people who I know only by face and not name. Two, I received gifts that were cool like the butterscotch Ninna gave me :) Every gift that I received was such a big thing to me even just their greetings. One greeting stood out of the rest, the "happy birthday!" of someone special to me ;) The look on his face made my heart melt. I treated SOME of my friends to Greenwich because some were not allowed. How sad :( But anyways, I was so full and so were my friends. As a gift to myself, I bought headphones which are super awesome!!! As of this moment, I'm thanking my friends in facebook who greeted me. I feels so heart-warming! :))

Weekends :(

Gosh! Weekends are super boring! You have nothing fun to do. Yeah, you could sleep and watch television for the whole day then what? There's no excitement of any kind. How can I make my weekend more interesting? I'll have to think about that.
